What a busy time! Only a few days before Shop Hop and we're
busy cutting fabrics, making kits, more fun fabric shapes and preparing lots of
other new goodies to offer you.

New arrivals
include 19 stunning new Batiks. There are some great prints and background
colors, so be sure to have a look at the Batik fabric page. And,
40 more bolts of Batiks just arrived today. We won't get them scanned
for a few days so if you get a chance, please come by the shop and see these

Another new
arrival is the Kona Bay Kingyo collection with large Hydrangeas and colorful
goldfish.
The hydrangea ('ajisai') is the flower of 'tsuyu' (rainy season). In the rainy season, the hydrangea blooms and changes its color from blue to red in the rain. In many ordinary people's gardens, the hydrangea is cultivated, and it is a very familiar flower to the Japanese. Many temples are famous for their hydrangeas. IN THE YARN
ROOM In the yarn room we've added Dark Horse Fantasy Yarn. This yarn is so soft and knits up like a dream! A 50% Nylon - 50% Acrylic worsted weight yarn is Machine Washable/Dryable. We love this yarn for its wide color range and soft handle. It's also great for kids, babies and people with wool allergies. The yarn shipped out to us last Friday so we expect it to arrive any day. IT'S A PARTY!
Mark the date - We're having a Mt. Colors Yarn Party.
