The placemat samplers do not come with needle or thread. You will need to order these separately from our store. This placemat takes 3 - 20m skeins of Olympus sashiko threador 60m of any medium weight sashiko thread and 1 ball of 80m thin weightsashiko thread. The placemat is a single layer and does not come with a backing.
