Sashiko pre-printed samplers have wash-out stitching lines.  Do not pre-wash. 100% cotton - Made in Japan.  Finished size approximately 12" x 12".  Stitch all in one color or use several colors to make it more decorative.

The design is printed on one half of the sampler.  You can stitch through both layers for a little heavier fabric if using it for a quilt square or you can stitch through a single layer and add your own backing.  In Japan, the samplers are stitched through both layers, hemmed and use for tea towels or table decorations.
