KAKISHIBU" hand-dyed thread for Sashiko and other hand embroidery projects.

100% cotton thread, 20 meters/ 22 yards per package.  Similar to size 8 pearl cotton.

This thread is natural dyed and treated with natural persimmon tannin that has been used as an antiseptic and water-proof coating for over 1000 years.  After being exposed to ultra-violet rays, oxidation, temperature, and humidity, the thread will gradually, over time, change color.  Enjoy the natural change of kakishibu thread with time.
