Wash separately in cool water. Do not use chlorine detergent or bleach. Do not soak or leave in water for a long time. Do not Tumble dry. Iron with a pressing cloth on low heat.
Japanese furoshiki are used for gift wrapping and transporting items while shopping. While these furoshiki are smaller than the larger ones used in Japan for shopping, they are widely used for decorating as small wall hangings, placemats, pillow tops and quilting squares. They're perfect for wrapping several small items together or one larger item like a bottle of sake or wine.
