Sashiko pre-printed samplers have wash-out stitching lines.  Do not pre-wash.  Finished size 12" x 12" (30cm x 30cm).  Made of 85% Cotton / 15% Linen.  English instructions.

The design is printed on one half of the sampler.  You can stitch through both layers for a little heavier fabric if using it for a quilt square or pillow and add your own backing. Or you can stitch through a single layer and use the attached piece as the backing. In Japan, the samplers are stitched through both layers, hemmed and use for tea towels or table decorations.
